02The story

Context

Applause is a Slovenian, EU-funded project that removes invasive alien plant species (ITR) from the local environment and turns them into sustainable boutique products, alongside workshops that teach the removal and processing methods. The site needed to carry that story — the problem, the process, the shop, the workshops — on a single scrolling page.

What I built

A responsive front end in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with Bootstrap, built from a supplied design: a hero carousel, a section explaining the invasive species problem in numbers, a shop preview and a workshop sign-up path, all on one page with anchor navigation. As with the other front-end-only builds here, I wasn't the designer — the file arrived as a finished design, and the job was turning it into working, responsive markup.
