02The story

Context

Miss Suomi is Finland's national beauty pageant academy, running the country's pageant since 1931. The site needed to carry that history while still reading as current: pageant listings, media, a booking path and a newsletter signup, built for a small team who publish new event pages themselves each season.

What I built

A fully responsive site in WordPress with Elementor Pro, built from a supplied design: a custom homepage with a rotating booking banner, dedicated sections for pageants, media and contact, a newsletter signup, and links out to external ticketing for live events. The Elementor sections are structured so the client's own team can add a new pageant page or update a gallery without touching code — the build optimizes for that handoff rather than for a one-time launch.

It's real, paid client work: a full site build, not a template, delivered to a supplied design and still live and running the current pageant season.
